I'm so happy to see you back online! You don't have to apologize to anyone for taking time out. Everyone needs a digital detox. I'm also a Premium subscriber but I fully support all advertising you ever want to add or promote on your channel! I loved seeing those sponsorships to know that you were (hopefully) getting some juicy ad dollars for all your self-funded efforts. If the product isn't relevant to me I have free will to fast forward rather than complain to someone putting in hours of effort sharing their life with me on KZbin. Lots of love to you and the girls. Aww Bruce, as someone else has commented, you are not the only one feeling the KZbin fatigue. My suggestion- maybe book in a couple of weeks off from filming every three months or so? You may not need it, but it’s the safety valve if you do. I enjoy your filming, mainly because you are a bit laid back and I’d hate to think you struggled just for our benefit.

Bruce, I am happy that you are sticking with KZbin. I really enjoy your content. You are a perfectionist with your videos. That is great but I know it puts pressure on you. Consider doing rough videos with no editing sometimes so you don’t get bogged down with your workload. Love seeing your professional videos but wouldn’t complain if you sometimes do a quick one without the polish and editing. I am sure most of your fans would agree!

You always need to honour your own joy, your emotions, your well being! Nothing could be more important! And of course it is your decision how many videos your are making, how often you upload. You are only one of many youtubers who are tired. Many have literally reached the point of burn out. It is such a tricky way to make money, I feel. Our lives consist of many mundane and repetitive tasks that it can get boring for the producer of the video as well as the viewers. As life is a journey, we are moving along together as humanity and with that changes will occur. These very special times on earth also bring very special challenges and with that changes. At the end of the day: you, as a family, as well as person are demonstrating how much change is happening! Remember how and why you started your homestead and your journey of documenting? I feel you on how much time it takes to get the footage, the right camera angles, and the editing. I work 7-14 hours a day 7 days a week running my woodworking business. I want to share how I make the work so badly but sometimes it just takes to much time to sit there and edit the videos when I need to be making the work to show at festivals. All of my luck to you in finding a good balance between everything. Just know that you have built up a wonderful community of people who will support you no matter what. We are always here for you.

Awww, awful re the stings :( I had one that affected me really badly this year, and another very near miss plus a meaningful threat so I’ve asked daughter to take all the hives to a lovely orchard in Wales where she should be living next year. Then I can get on with being a gardener & not having to wear a hat (I hate hats) every time I step outside. Wow for your honey though & B looked adorable in her suit. What a great bday present to have asked for. Can’t beat Ireland for music! Why don’t you just film what you want when you want & post when you feel you have enough content? Okay, first, I pay for KZbin premium, but I only expect that to keep me from your video being arbitrarily interrupted. I don’t expect creators to not push a product they like. I can fast forward past any of that content whereas I can’t the forced advertisements. So? Someone was just wanting to bitch. You will always have that. I can also understand losing your joy in making videos. I was a teacher for 30 years. At the end, I did it to keep a roof over my head. It’s taken me three years to even begin to think of volunteering since I retired. I was that burned out. I love that you will take that break. Love the bee story. Would have loved to see it, but my imagination can fill in the blanks. You do what you want us to see and post when you can. I love watching you and your family just enjoy life. When your video pops up, I watch it with joy. If you go a while between videos, I figure that you’re busy. It’s your life. Don’t let anyone guilt you into what you’re not ready for. (Yeah, I know that I ended a sentence with a preposition. I don’t care).
