Great when he says, "The show about viruses, the Kind that Make you Sick!" Love from Texas!

I wish I was smart enough and trained in your field to work in Amy's lab too. You have reminded me that being smart matters. I look forward to RacaniYELLO time. I love your wit, when you have guests on (psst I stopped eating pork including bacon thanks to Angela), I love what you are creating. Thank you for all you do! 💖

Ah! You live and learn! For 4 years I've been petitioning people to close the lid before flushing the toilet, based on SARS1 report that a whole tower block was infected by aerosols generated by flushing by an infected person! Apologies to whom it may concern!!!

@@gferraro8353 Until Dec 6, 2022, China fid a great job of hindering Covid. Harsh at times but saved so many lives. Then they gave up & 1.1b of us got infected in a couple of weeks. At least mask wearing in hospitals is still a thing & XBB jabs are available.

Vincent, the nurse could have just been making conversation to make you more comfortable with the blood draw, or she could have been checking your mental status. We’re tricky that way, always asking questions and gathering data.

If you are wondering what death is like I can tell you from personal experience. I had triple bypass surgery. I remember being brought into the operating room and people around me doing their jobs preparing to operate on me. In what seemed to me to be the next moment I was back in my room. Hours had gone by yet for me no time at all had passed between being in the operating room and being back in my room. It was like turning a light switch off and on. No dreams, no visions, no awareness of losing consciousness or a feeling of regaining consciousness. Time had passed, the world kept turning and life had gone on but for me there was nothing. This is not sleep, it's not eternal rest. When consciousness is gone so are you. Our minds may rebel against this inevitable reality and try every kind of mental gymnastics to avoid it. For me the time spent pretending that life somehow extends beyond death and that can be accomplished by belief in a deity and following this imaginary savior's demands in order to gain "everlasting" life is a tragic waste of the brief time we actually have.

How do you know it was asymptotic disease? No body goes around asking New Yorkers how they feel and recording that. Plenty of New Yorkers felt sick in February I’m sure.
