Officers Amazingly Keep Straight Faces During this Arrest

On January 3, 2022 in Florida, a sheriff's deputy observed a Toyota Camry bearing a Wisconsin license plate traveling 55 MPH in a posted 35-MPH zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and upon approaching the driver, immediately noticed the odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the man's breath. The man said he had had 6 drinks that night. This is police footage of the events that followed.

They do take in consideration how well you actually perform the tests, but they are also looking at if they follow directions. Drunks cannot follow directions. It's kind of a 50/50 test 50% of if you perform the test accurately and 50% if you follow directions.

Its fine. He's fine. He's from Wisconsin. He's had plenty of experience with this... Thankfully he didn't hurt anyone, or himself! He seems like a well raised, very polite kid. A kid who made a foolish decision when he was intoxicated. Regardless of how many people deny the truth, I'd be more than willing to bet the vast majority of everybody reading this has made the same poor choice at some point in time as well, at least once! I'm sure nearly all of you managed to get home safely, hopefully with age and maturity these poor choices are no longer made. But before posting comments that make this respectful kid out to be some horrible person. Take a look in the mirror, and consider how you very well likely have at one point or another over your life been guilty of operating a vehicle while over the legal limit. Just because we weren't caught, doesn't mean we're less guilty, and completely innocent. I sincerely hope this young man learns from this experience and realizes how fortunate he was for not hurting anyone, including himself. Based on my first impression I got of him, I think he will learn from this experience.
