Official 100% Walkthrough | Shattersong (Grandmaster) by Hydro & others | Celeste Strawberry Jam

Shoutouts to Rin_Jagste for recording the berries for me, they're a little hard and also guest rooms so insane mapper bias isn't applicable.
The main focus of Shattersong is cassette blocks in odd meter, namely 7/8, 10/8 and 13/8, combined with cassette boosts, with a secondary focus on restrictive fields. This was both super fun to work with and absolutely soul-crushingly devastating cus holy shit is this complicated lmao.
I'm very proud of what this map has become, it really is the perfect execution of my idea. Huge thanks to: Gamation for decorating the map and handling some of the feedback during the latter part of development, Aidan Gold (quadratic97) for being incredible to work with and being a kickass composer, and Vexatos for putting up with my endless stupid code requests, love yall ♡

it breaks my heart wide open that this a gm map. it took me like 8 hours to beat intermediate HS. :( but i think i'm gonna give this level a whack at some point just because of how amazingly unique it is. out of all the maps I've seen in SJ this one is probably my favorite because of the concept, and the atmosphere and the sheet music is such a baller idea. I would absolutely try a full campaign of this concept

just finished this map and i have to say. this map is a fucking masterpiece. really loved the callbacks to distorted/warped bay from winter collab as well as electric exuberance from spring collab :)

just beat this map as my very first red GM clear and it took me nine hours. this level is honestly a masterpiece, I only got one of the berries so I’m probably gonna replay it to get the rest even though I know it’s gonna take me eons lol

you have to land on the cassette right as it activates, since it moves up one (1) pixel, therefore giving you liftboost. In vanilla its a 1f, in this map its 2f tho

5:54 any tips on jumping off the snowball. every time i try i dont get enough speed

do the ultra out of the portal as fast as possible, even buffer it a little bit in the orange section. when you land on the platform heading towards the snowball, input a down-right crouch dash. also make sure that you fastfall into the green portal. so basically hold down and right after hitting the spring in the orange section, then keep holding down and right and input a dash and a crouch dash. Sorry if this was late!
