There no way to quantify how epic this was. There's almost no other equivalent in any other sport. Could you imagine the last play of an NFL game taking 20 mins? How about a game of pickle/rundown in MLB taking 20mins? NBA ends when the clock ends,so they would need a one thousandth of a second,full court buzzer beater or something. I believed soccer has similar phase play,and its likely the closest to produce something similar. Haven't been the sports fan for the last 4yrs,but I know awesome stuff when I see it.

Rugby newbie here: can someone explain the issue with the "deliberate knock-on" at 1'20? My dictionary says knock-on is when you hit the ball with your hands as to send it forward ("en avant" in French)

I know this comment is old but the difference between it being deliberate or not is huge. If it's not deliberate then it's a scrum for the opposition. If it's deliberate then the opposite team gets a penalty and the player making the knock on can potentially get a yellow card.
