I looking back I think denoshe was originally suppose to make the band. Diddy always put Aubrey and Denoshe in the same group the way he put aundrea and dawn in the same group. He knew from the beginning who he was choosing. Aundrea Aubrey Shannon and dawn were going to make the band. Drea and Aubrey were fan favorites and both talented in their own ways. Shannon was brought in this season from fame with Johnny and the best dancer. Dawn was bought out of a contract so she was making it. Denosh was likely diddy first pick instead of d woods because of her industry experience. But didn’t pick her because every time he put her in a group with Aubrey they couldn’t get along. He was already picking Aubrey so he passed on denosh Dawn and aundrea were always in the same group too but they got along and blended vocally together well. They were the best singers in the group and were the core for dks sound. Had denosh have gotten along with Aubrey she would have made it

I think they put Denosh in the same group with Aubrey more because they're both strong-headed personalities and were likely to butt heads. After seeing how well people liked that Aubrey stood up for herself against Jason, they wanted to put her with someone that was going to challenge and provoke her. Drama = ratings. They might've just gotten lucky with the first grouping during the singing challenge, but after that first argument the producers knew to put them together

facts. Aubrey was the weakest singer in DK, Jasmine didn't make the final cut because she was unable to harmonize, Melissa's singing was mediocre, and Kelly couldn't dance. Denosh had already worked in the business as a back up singer and dancer (for Aaliyah) so I get why she was frustrated. She knew her group sucked and that Aubrey was favored.

Alright so I've commented before and I understand how the other girls feel about Denosh and her way of leading but you have to remember this, she already has years of experience in the industry coming into the competition so she already knows what it takes and also she understands what it's like to be a dark-skinned black woman in a racist industry and they made her look like an aggressive bully attacking the poor, innocent little white girls and Jasmine when she's bringing all of her knowledge and experience of being in the industry to the table and also hang to be twice and better and written twice as hard to even be on the same level as the Aubreys and Melissas who aren't as talented as she is. Could she have had a better approach? Yeah possibly, but you can't take away her experience and how she has to approach her craft as a dark-skinned black woman in a white-run industry that's not really checking for her like they are her light-skinned counter-parts. I wonder how many times she was rejected simply because of her complexion and nothing else and it saddens me that because of the amount of editing that went into this show that people could actually think she would be jealous of anyone or have an ego. There is so much that has been cut out that we will never see because all they want us to know is that Aubrey is America's sweetheart and Denosh is the angry, aggressive, jealous black girl. It doesn't matter how talented she is or the amount of experience she has next to these entitled girls who are completely green and have not stepped into the real business before making the band, it will always come down to that. Thanks MTV for crapping on our dark-skinned black women once again.
