Keep in mind, that some of the custom tracks are based off of the Mario Kart 8 & Tour versions. So I thought it made more sense to compare it to those versions instead of the originals. It's very confusing (I know), but I still think this is a cool way to compare the official track to the custom track version!

Comparing Mario Kart Double Dash's Dino Dino Jungle to the Mario Kart 8 custom track based off of it's appearance in 7... Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I don't think any Mario Kart game after Double Dash has kept up in terms of in-game speed. Another reason why Nintendo isn't as good nowadays as it was back then.
