Phoenix should be immune to freezing from manas and owls like it’s legit on fire. It would balance out the meta.

Manas are mechanically overpowered. This is obvious from a design standpoint and it means no numbers nerfs will ever really fix them. They should have been locked to extinction upon release, but TBF, owls are very nearly as bad, and gasbags and velos aren't all that far behind owls, nor are gachas but for entirely different reasons... effectively all extinction-specific dinos should never have been transferrable off of extinction, they're all broken-OP pieces of trash.

@@erndeche1475 Manas are mechanically overpowered in that they can compete with pretty much every tame in the game even when they are in their ideal position eg: flyers in the air, bloodstalkers on the water or on a wall. The other tames are nowhere near close, because they have very apparent weaknesses which can be exploited. The Managarmr is a jack of all trades, master of all.

@@RevPVP Yeah, that's what is meant by mechanically overpowered. It's a scout/CC/brawler and first or second best dino in the game at each of these roles individually. It can't pick, heal, enhance vision, or fit in tight spaces or genesis maps, but half of that is covered by owls. We're only lucky there wasn't a new picking dino with extinction.... Oh hi Genesis Spider.

On a PvE server, I had a high level pheonix, and I used to go into the SE wyvern trench to burn up all the wyverns there for fun (charge ignite has an insane range for sure) never considered trying in PvP though lol

most cloner phoenixes are trash level, 5-20 ish because it's fairly cheap to clone. A pvp cloner around level 150-200 is gonna run you around 400 ele to start the cloner. Source: I tamed a 120 phoenix that came out at 172 for pvp and it costs 39880 shards to start the cloner at level 172. Somewhere around level 205-220 they become so expensive they're unclonable because you can't fit the shards in the cloner anymore. on the upside, that 172 starts its life with 4.8k health, 1,300 stam, and 511 weight, and can be leveled up to about 25k health if that's what you want.

Basically, if you're playing official PvP, chances are half the dinos in the fight or more have a way to PERMANENTLY CC you that can be applied in about one second flat. Don't ever be caught outside of flame-dashing in a PvP situation unless it's literally just enemy foot PvPers.

if you take flame arrows / flame thrower you can heal it by shooting it we used phoenix for pvp classic season 1

That is interesting, pretty cool. Bet you could do it with a torch and with my melee it might heal it pretty fast. Assuming it isn't level 30 cloner and hasmore than 2000 health you can definitely make good use of that.

Thylacs can pin down a theri or even just pick off the rider then bleed and comp them to death. you were planning deinonychus and thylac if i remember right so thought i might add some things Deino jump can be charged even while sprinting, when clinging onto a wall WASD only makes your jumps super laggy as the jump is only just aimed with your mouse so you can get aloot of height and distance.

tame up a quick low level icthy, the saddle is cheap and they are a quick raw meat tame which is a lot easier than building a whole base to store ur loot in, so it’s worth besides for esp..

At first I used a megalodon I tamed which I regretted, I'm probably retarded for trying that. Definitely go with an ichthy or my favourite, a baryonyx. Baryonyx is slow but you also have a capable PVP mount and it can dispatch anything that might attack you on the way down.
