some really good points. I like that the screw locks the blade trigger so I can really choke up on the handle and get close to the blade. The teeth also cut even on easy pulling. Just pulling it straight back is enough to cut, very easy to use, you dont have to really go full throttle to cut big logs quickly.

Thank you! The team at Silky headquarters did a brilliant job making sure the Katanaboy is as safe as possible to use, especially with it's incredible large teeth! The great thing is, the whole Silky range cut on the pull stroke. Cutting on the pull stroke requires less energy and gives you more control over the action of the saw. So amazing! 😃

Do the Katanaboy saws allow for a second open usable position? I'm referring to a position with the handle above the cutting plane when sawing horizontally. Helpful to avoid pushing blade into dirt when cutting large logs laying on ground, even after jacking. You two provide the best information on these saws on the web and look like you enjoy doing it. Sure works for me. Thank you.

Thank you and yes, we have to enjoy it otherwise all you would see are our nerves😂! Unfortunately, they don't have a second blade angle setting. That is a brilliant idea though, and we will suggest it to Silky, perhaps something they will change in the future. 😃 Nita

Can someone put a 550 blad on to the 650 saw if needed because thrice could be a big factor if the 650 blade brakes

Personally, I find it amusing that someone would carry a Corona that has a chunky handle that like so many others is prone to breaking, has no sheath and is prone to stutter when cutting hardwood. But hey, each to their own.
