The film itself is funny and even good, but I think Idiocracy is honestly elevated by the fact that its concept is broad. I feel it's a relevant film during any time period. However... I'd argue that it doesn't have too much to say that other satire before or since hasn't already covered. "Idiots reproduce" isn't really a concept the film made up.

Zack Galifianakis - Marshall Kusso Rashida Jones - Francis Applewhite Donald Glover - Copano Maya Hawke - Harrington Jeff Daniels - Rick Kruger Ideal cast if they ever do a live action version of this (I love animation but subject matter like this needs to be more than just a niche concept, it needs widespread xfiles level appeal and with how the industry is going and audiences not taking animation seriously, this getting a love action adaptation would ensure it takes hold of the public consciousness the way something like Breaking Bad did but expose/apply more pressure to the pharmaceutical industry)
