What an honorable man. Not the typical rock 🌟. Seeing hearing and feeling this is healing to me right now. I will pray this healing spreads out to touch him. I have no doubt he's heartbroken by what the mother of his two beautiful sons did to him. I feel it. Every time I read what's going down. Unbelievably cruel woman.

Phil Collins is a great singer, songwriter and drummer. I have all of his music and this man is remarkably talented. I am a huge Phil Collins fan and I don’t believe that Genesis would’ve been able to find a great singer then Phil. And Phil was really the original drummer for the band Genesis and when Peter Gabriel who was the original singer decided to go solo and that’s when Phil stepped in and became the lead singer full time and because of his great fantastic voice and drumming skills, he made the band successful with great music that we wanted to hear.

Even though I was born in Colombia (I love my birth Country) I LOVE Texas. I have been in Texas since 76' and been to the Alamo 4 times. Every time I go is such a special and AMAZING place. For me, there is such a calmness, peaceful feeling, that makes me appreciate more as to the tragedy that happened there. I'm dying to go again to see the contributions Phil Collins made. Sure would be nice if he was my tour guide ;-)

I saw Phil on a tour with Eric Clapton back in the 1980's. They were great. His fascination with the Alamo is very interesting. It is a pivotal moment. Of course, there's really 2 battles around the Alamo. The so-called Siege of Béxar preceded resulted in a Texas victory, whereas the second battle was a victory for Mexico.

Don't move that Cenotaph. It may be an empty tomb, but it is a tomb and supposedly on the spot of the ashes of the defenders. That matters to Texans. We love the legend of that story just as much as the Cenotaph whether folks think the legend is exactly historically accurate or not.

Great interview on Phil’s part but he looks so incredibly uncomfortable in that setting.

I did not think he looked uncomfortable. More thoughtful. His nature seems to be low key, except on stage. Kinda cool that he would get involved with the effort.
