Glad to get the first video of 2025 uploaded. This was a very peculiar reality show from the early 2000s and it has always stuck in my mind, so I thought it would be an interesting show to cover. What are your memories of this show, and do you think you would have what it takes to go 7 days with almost no sleep? Hope you all enjoy and thanks for watching!

That Mastermind quiz was a brilliant Two Ronnies sketch years before. Highly recommended to watch.

Another great find which I missed back then! Very interesting in concept at least...

I missed this when originally aired, but remember a few at work talking about it. As someone who regularly does nightshifts, you'd be surprised how effective a 10 minute nap can be to refresh yourself, so a 90 sleep would be very refreshing.

Would love to see a video about Jailbreak from 2000, complete with Craig Charles. Remember it being a mess in a fun way, and the contestants largely missing the pre set up escape routes

If I am able to find the episodes of this, I will certainly cover it on the channel. Leave it with me ;)

No need to hope, my friend. Keep up the great niche topics.

Ha, I've not seen or thought about this since I watched it back then. Completely forgotten. Yet watching this it's all coming back. I definitely remember the Terminator lady. I was about 17/18 and I had a big crush on her. This show was kinda like Big Brother's stillborn little brother.

I was telling some people I work with about this show once, they are much younger than me. None of them believed that it was real, because it's not something you could do now.

Does anyone remember a similar show about denying people use of their senses? People in cells with blindfolds on and one guy hallucinated seeing clams

I remember watching this when it originally aired, it did stick with me. I always thought I'd be able to do something like this as I never got much sleep due to playing games/watching tv series all night with 2-3 hours sleep before work the next day, but it'd also mean having to be social with others which would be an environment I wouldn't have thrived in. Clare won, I remember she revealed she was able to give herself cramps, which she used during the final to win - £97k - nice prize for this!

Yea I think when I was younger, I might have been able to do this. Definitely not now I don't think!

Now I haven't fully watched the video but I do remember watching this and somehow it was one of the craziest things I ever saw. I think it really shows what 7 days of litterally no sleep feels like and the fact someone even did that is insane. Genuinely interesting to watch back in the day. I randomly had an idea about another video you could do which is a retrospective or just a general video about a show called 101 ways to leave a game show which I thought was hilarious at the time when I used to watch it. I guess some other ones I could recommend would be like. Fun House, Dara Obriens go 8 bit (its really hard to find full episodes of this nowadays but I really loved the show), Mabye even I'm a celebrity get me out of here. Yeah I'm British lmao.

Thanks for the suggestions for future videos. I'll definitely be covering some of those at some point! :)

Is the house set made to look like the inside of the Nostromo on purpose?

I do remember watching this. Certainly interesting, if morally questionable. In a similar vein, would be good to see you cover The Tourist Trap from 1998. Was on channel 4 and then rebroadcast later by Sky. It had tourists of different nationalities come to a hotel with hidden cameras and put through different situations to see how people from different cultures would react. I've never rewatched it but it is on youtube - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXPQe6Gfbsd1haM
