John Popper isn't a communist so he was never going to be promoted by mainstream outlets. Look at the lead singer (or most famous member) of every single band you'd consider bigger than Blues Traveler. I guarantee you that member is a communist. It's honestly amazing they got as big as they did.

one of my lifelong buds went to school was friends with a good friend of their manager before they broke and got to know the band, I went to a few of their small venue shows and remember attending an after party for them after performing at a college in upstate so we had to sneak like 15 cases of beer into their hotel (party was in one of their suite's)so to get the beer past the front desk was a thing, they were not yet rock stars and they were somewhat responsible as to not cause issues for the hotel..so myself and the drummer he had a good idea of sort of mixing some of his drum equipment to hide the beer and he was really kool down to earth, the guitarist didn't want to be bothered with helping and was busy with some groupies to be,, bassist was chill also,, I remember, John went straight back to his room to rest and didn't party so I didn't meet him but it was a fun night, they were all really kool guys, especially drummer because it wouldn't have been much of a party without beer

Wanna know what i love most about Blues Traveler? They were happy just playing gigs, not really into being a HUGE band, and I mean they could have been fricken HUGE bigger than even U2, but they didn't want it, they wanted to make the locals happy, John Popper said he didn't want to deal with cooperate music, he just wanted to do his thing

I feel like this song is so underrated for it’s high vibration value
