The song is a rehash of new jack swing, which is a western sound itself. IMO a lot of kpop is most just western music trends in korean (but of course not always)

@KingAJ you are right. This song was one of the earliest examples of New Jack swing in K-pop, and acknowledged that at the time. I think the point the op was trying to make is that there is less difference in current trends in the US and Korean releases now. Where early 2010s kpop was more influenced by 80s and 90s US trends than 2010 US trends, sometimes I can't tell if what is on the radio now is kpop or western. I never found that to be the case in earlier generations. Maybe more a result of kpops growing influence than the other way around?

Have you noticed how none of Btob MV's has crossed 100M vi3ws? Btob might say that they don't care about vi3ws,charts and album sales...but we melodies should realize how much they crave for it...we should str3am their MV's and buy their albums if possible...we all think that they do not have much international fans...but trust me there are enough and more number of I-melodies for hitting at least 100M vi3ws for our boys....our fandom is big enough alright ? Take the case of this MV itself....it took a lot of months to change from 41M vi3ws to 42M and I donno when it will hit 43M ? Next year ? I str3am Btob MV's everyday but the vi3ws just increase like 10-20 or maybe few more...1 or few fans cannot make this happen...if we all stand together and move with the same strategy,we can make it happen...that's the only thing we can do for them as fans...I am not saying to completely spend our day for str3aming MV's but at least try your best Let's do this :) 100M vi3ws for Wow as soon as possible...let's make our boys proud for their hard work :)
