@vitorguerreiro3902 that's probably what's so good about the TV show, it's not some spinoff that's absolutely useless to the lore or an alternate universe (halo TV show), but it's a Canon show that acually moves the universe forward

I'm young n' built a cigar box banjo because of fallout songs(im poor so i dont want to spend money on my hobbies); I started listening to the carter family and the dillards. The cigar box brand was "Excalibur" like the sword and some spanish words( found the box in my dads garage), and I just used scrap metal in my yard like you would in fallout and I bought banjo strings for five bucks. It cost a me a day and five bucks to make one narly sounding banjo. Haven't figured out my fretz yet; so far i just bent some long staples around the neck that I can adjust incase it's not where I want them.

Unfortunately this type of music is not listened to, it is never broadcast in Italy on the radio, in clubs and on TV, only the usual rap, pop and commercial music, the culture is missing. My favorite artists are Don Williams, George Strait, Marty Robbins, Glen Campbell, Dwight Yoakam, Tom T. Hall, Bobby Bare, Kathy Mattea, Jerry Reed, Jeff Walker. and I like singing this music. When I was a kid growing up in the 80s in Dallas, Texas there was a tv station that played old movies on the weekends. In their promos to tell us what movies they were playing on the weekend they would play this song in the background, and they were always the same movies like Repo Man, and The Warriors and Cheech and Chong but we watched anyway. Such great memories. Thanks Buck.

Surprisingly, first time I heard Buck Owens original. Should have been a big crossover hit in the early sixties considering the success of Johnny Cash, Dave Dudley, and Johnny Horton. Virtually never played on US pop radio (not Country) until the Beatles did the cover several years later and Ringo got all the credit.

First heard this song a long while ago because of the beatles performance by ringo starr. Since then it really got an special place in my heart... To me it sounds so fit to the ironies of life, as an cinema student and worker of the movie industry myself. Hearing it on that episode of fallout, a series i'm a great fan of sure set some tears to my eye! Wether those tears were joy or irony i'm yet to figure.
