Darius is diffy man. His ability to sound so convincingly pissed off is 2nd to none. The voice he puts underneath the harsh vocals is so damn good. In a deathcore scene filled with vocalists sounding farther and farther away from human, it’s actually the feral pissed off human sound that Darius has that impresses me and fits this band so well. It’s more relatable and impactful than him trying to sound like a banshee or goblin. It’s exactly like Philly bo described, a pissed off mental patient lol. Definitely my fav vocalist in the scene

If you haven’t listened to them already you should check out bodysnatcher and kublai khan or a lesser known band terminal sleep those three bands are the angriest I’ve ever heard spite is definitely up there with them though. The lead vocalist of terminal sleep looks like a crazy person when on stage it’s insane! The vast majority of metal band members are. I know everyone always mentions this but corpse grinder of cannibal corpse is honestly one of the kindest most humble people in metal but yet he writes some of the most depraved song lyrics
