Great time for hurling in the mid -late 90's That great Clare team did a lot for hurling. Limerick were very unfortunate they were beaten in two finals. Offaly had emerged in the 80's but they had one of the most skilful teams ever to play hurling. Need new teams to emerge for the health of the game but it's getting more and more difficult now as finances are playing such a huge part.

My Grandparents county! Used to go every year on holiday to their farm. The fate of most Anglo Irish children I'm glad to say. Up 'The Banner'
