Top tip, If you start on a keyed instrument, it's much easier to work out the others. They all share the same 12 notes after all, a piano just lays them out in the most logical order that makes every other instrument make sense!

He found a niche of being a comedic rockstar or rocking comedian, depending on the show. He's done shows with full orchestra's, and stand-up backed by jokes set to music. This man is a legend on so many levels. The haircut is a strong statement though. Next level mullet.

Why is there a boundary between music and comedy? Both are creative pursuits. Many musicians employ comedy (Victor Borge, for instance) and many comedians employ music (Steve Martin, for example).

At which point he looks shocked, excuses himself and bolts out of the classroom. With Bill just saying "that was odd". I'd watch that movie, over and over.

I went to see Bill Bailey in Oxford years back. The show finished but the entire audience was having such a good time and Bill was too, so he just mucked around with instruments, told stories, just hung out with everyone basically for another couple of hours having fun. Absolutely fantastic man.
