Love him too & Johnny Mercer as the lyricist for this song. But what about George Gershwin, Cole Porter etc.

I remember listening to Andy Williams singing this song. Henry Mancini had so many beautiful songs. I was under 10 years old and buying those kinds of records. I had all of Andy Williams records. ❤ I was a weird kid! One foot was firmly planted in the rock & roll 60s, the other foot lingering in the world of movie musicals. The 60s were the most dynamic of the musical decades. Never was there more variety!

Andy Williams was sorta responsible for foisting the Osmonds upon us. Oh, I liked him just fine, but he was a celeb, just like Liz and Dick(but better behaved), and there was a swirl of people who lacked his standards and polish around him. He was a class act and a great singer.

What an Orchestra! Can you imagine putting something like this together today. Lost musicality compared to today's Autotune garbage.

He made it all look so easy, effortless. Love Mancini❤ Be sure to listen to "Warm Shade of Ivory," my favorite of his albums. A prolific talent 🏆🎹👏🎶✨

Most people could not sit and listen to this because they would think it is too long. I am glad I am old.

Lol forget autotune and modern tech - for decades EVERYONE seems to play this song upbeat, when it's supposed to be melancholic like this recording and the movie it was made for

Irrepetible y único. Muchos buenos músicos de hoy en día beben de su fuente, de la que tanta buena música brotó. Su música es alivio y goce para el corazón.
