I think the show was less about nothing and more about a very abnormal and unhealthy relationship. Even at age 12 I was aware that there was something off about the situation. Sadly, society was more than happy to stare at it.

Holly, you are not alone when it comes to the phenomenon of needing to re-evaluate your life for the future. I honestly have made big changes in my life recently after Halloween. Maybe it's the change of seasons, or maybe it's the after affects of the pandemic. I think all of us just want some change and the break we had from our old lives makes us want to revisit and change things for the better 😀

Hi Holly! it's so fun to be able to leave a comment for you! I LOVED GND and watched it every week. I miss it. I was going thru some stressful things during the time it was on, and for me, it was pure escapism. I always felt uplifted. I loved that the shows were "about nothing"....all the little random scenes and daily things that happened to you and the other girls was something new for me to see. And no, I didn't think "eww these girls are living with this old dude". Maybe I was naive, but I never really thought about it one way or the other, so I think you are being too hard on yourself to feel that those of us in the audience were thinking that. I just enjoyed the show for what it was - light hearted entertainment. I loved seeing your outfits, the interior of the mansion and other scenes. So, i hope my comments lift your spirits about that era which I know wasn't the best for you. I would guess that most people watching felt the same way...we enjoyed the show on its own merits and didn't overthink it or overanalyze it, because hey, that's what makes life stressful. For whatever its worth, the show gave a lot of us a much needed escape from our own lives! Luv your channel, new subscriber!

That is how I feel every time I see a new video you released is that you could stop doing it any day and I literally look forward to each and everyone of these reaction videos. And I would love to even see Bridget do it or U2 a couple episodes together! I doubt you’ll read this much less respond but I hope you feel much better where you are in this journey right now than you were those first three episodes that I could tell were hard for you to watch. That’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. We did eventually thankfully recover from it. I’m also sorry about your cousin passing away =( That’s another thing I can relate to as well. My very close cousin passed when I was 16 years old, what a rough time. I hope you know it’s not your fault, you’re worthy of respect and love and faithfulness. And yes, a friend of mine had a pet mini pig. But her mom was an agriculture teacher at a high school, so when the pig got too big it went and lived on the school farm. It was a literal farm that was part of the school, not a "the animal went to live on a farm but it really died" thing. I actually gave one of my horses to the farm. They had goats, cows, pigs, chickens, etc.

The mini pig thing wasn't a scam, people were just dumb. Micro or mini pigs are A LOT smaller than a standard sized pig. Regular pigs are like 400 lbs while a "mini pig" is like over 100 lbs or so. Idk if or why people were being mislead into thinking they were getting a pig that wasn't gonna weigh more than like 20 lbs 😂
