Arcenio needs his own podcast! I love his voice, storytelling, he's an excellent host and intetviewer...the list goes on. He may not have a show but this is the age of podcasts which is just as good. He could be big like Shannon.

Somebody in the comments or maybe the caption said that Arsenio got emotional talking about Mr Pryor. I’m only halfway into the video clip 3:47 and I’m feeling myself getting more and more choked up. I think it’s the combo of this information that’s new to me, Arsenio’s kindnesses toward Mr Pryor, and Howie being as gd polite and generous as a host could possibly be. Genuine kindness breaks me up.

I watched his show every night. When my daughter watched “Coming To America” for first time a few years ago, I accessed about an hour and a half of Arsenio stories. This interview is pure magic; I’ve listened to this podcast three times already. Thank you, Arsenio, Howie, and Jackie!

Listening again to Arsenio tell that story, I'm shocked! "Dancers with cigars." Wow! That's one hell of a g@y party he threw for Richard Pryor.

The important take away is, people just may not know what a person is going through if they don't say anything.

2:29 I don't think Richard would feel that way about Quincy Jones now after what he said about him a few years ago with Marlon Brando.

Richard admitted to his own gay encounters in his autobiography. Bro was open about everything he did.

@jbizz80 I know, but the way Quincy did it rubbed me the wrong way. Because he started telling other people's business who ain't here to defend themselves.

People telling personal stories under videos that are totally unrelated is so boring. But damn it, I'm about to do it. My grandmother's brother (I think the term is "great uncle") always had money back in the day. And ALL my cousins wanted to be "close" to him. I thought he was on the evil side, so kept my distance. But at 90, broke and alone, it was just my mother looking after him. And then when SHE died, it was just ME looking after him. He passed at 93. On MY birthday, of all things. He was definitely an evil guy, and a liar, and lot of stuff. But I did what I thought my mother would have wanted. The rest of the LIVING family? Nothing. Oh, one relative stole some money he had under his bed.
