I'm a hillbilly from Eastern KY, that's spot on. From my experience black men don't have the luxury of being able to ignore bullshit from an early age. The game is rigged against black men in this country. The powers that be want us to be arguing over things that really don't matter black etcetera. What really matters, is rich and poor The haves and have nots. Because I'm telling you growing up a sign of a coal miner in Eastern Kentucky is very similar to growing up a young black man. I've been discriminated against my entire life by folks in positions of power. Class and where I was born is what mattered. Not my skin color. If only the poor whites could unite with the poor minorities, you could affect some real change in this country.

@@MikeJones-fz2mt it's plenty out here that has sold out. The man in the dress now is to tell the rest of the world who the establishment owns. It's the ones that can't put on a dress that have sold out. It's plenty that are not wearing a dress that have sold out. Some have a thick mustache so thick you can't put him in a dress, they tell you we can't do that we making that corporate money. We can't say that we making corporate money. I remember Flip saying "Killer don't play that"!! He talked about the wife swapping, remember watching in some movie where a comedians wife was in the midst of that of which Rashon just spoke of.

I grew up in WAY upstate NY Canadian border. While there was no black population to speak of, we saw some black Canadians from Montreal now and then and fresh air kids around during the summer. Black entertainers on TV like Godfrey Cambridge, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis, Charlie Pride, Sidney Portier, Diane Carrol and many others..well.. we thought absolutely nothing other than we liked them as we did the white entertainers. Just simply was not a mind set of them being different. Of course they were a different color, but we just loved them and all the rest. There was no "n word" ever spoken whatsoever It simply .wasn't a part of the language anybody used.and would have been odd to hear, I'm sure. My ancestors fought for the North in the Union Army. We know that, too.
