Glad i listened to this. He mentioned Terra Alta WV, my hometown. I was trying to remember the name of the promotion that ran shows there in the late 80s, maybe early 90s. I attended a few at the old high school gym. Wish I could find programs from those shows.

Brian Hildebrand did referee under his real name in ECW during the '90s. That Bill Berger that was teamed with Buckwheat Jackson was a job wrestler for WWWF/WWF on and off from the mid-'70s-mid-'80s.

I'll never get over how Brian Hildebrand put in his will that he wanted his body cremated and mixed with the firework powder used for WCW Nitro's pyro. The Smartest Mark that ever lived.

Brian trained as a wrestler under Dominic Denucci along with Shane Douglas and Mick Foley. In Mick's first book 'Have a Nice Day's he puts Brian over as a tremendous worker who could outwork most of the boys, but he was simply too small. Gone way too soon! One of the few people in pro wrestling whom nobody has ever said a bad word about. He refereed some of the most important matches in WCW when they were the number-one company in the business. For that alone, every wrestling fan should know who he was. More segments like this one would be great!
