Mark is one of the most underrated performers of all time. The music is exceptional and then all the charity and community support work he has had little recognition for. We should be ashamed not recognising him for all he has done and given.

I hope y'all recognize how amazing these musicians are...Mark King just kills every note, every groove and sings over it all without even blinking. Much love and respect for these folks.

Saw them several times while living in the UK from 82-85....and was hooked from the first song. Moved to Washington DC in 85 and they played at the Bayou in Georgetown.....that place was just a classic small venue in the heart of Georgetown....so much character and it was the bands World Party tour.....oh so so fabulous...remains one of the best concerts I have ever attended....these boyz are so tight!!

Great song... from True Colours, an album I really liked but seemed to be the last album from phase 1 of the band. They changed direction quite considerably after that.

Love this band. However, the drummer is too busy on every song. Hes great, no doubt, but just feel the flow of every song. Man, imagine if Phil Gould was still in the band, or my hero, Jeff Porcaro , was in this band.. the sound would be much different.
@RogerBiwandu2 жыл бұрын
Yet he does a GREAT job, and Mark seems to REALLY love him so... Each person are different, same for musicians. PS : as much as Jeff was/is a drum hero of mine, I don't think his laid back drumming would be a good stuff for L42's music, BUT, of course it would sound great anyway, such a badass musician/drummer, RIP...

This is the best drummer to play with Level 42 IMO. Is it Adam Deitch?
