Anitta is Brazilian. Funk is pretty much hip hop in Brazilian. The “haircut” in the video is a reference to a Brazilian soccer player very popular in the 2000’s, also the chicken running in the video is in reference to the movie (City of God) (highly recommend you check it out, it is based on real events in the “favelas” (getto/slums) of Rio de Janeiro. She sings in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She has feat with “tha dogfather”, Cardi B, ASAP Ferg, Missy Elliot, Saweete, Akon, Sean Paul, and many Latin American stars.
