I LOVED Dragon Ball Z Tournament back in the day, this was our DBZ game before Legacy of Goku and Budokai released in 2002.

Flash games was ground breaking at the time. Your everyday person was able to make a video game. Before that, it was just companies. I was shocked when I was a kid. Because that thought never cross my mind 😅 they didn't have to worry about deadlines. A real passion project.

last year i went into flashpoint infinity for a nostalgia trip over all these DBZ games, especially DBZ Tournament and Mission to Namek, those games were so fun for single digit age me back in the day

@@GoldenPSP yeah back in the day i used to be a DBZ-head and would go online looking for EVERY SINGLE dbz fanmade game i could find, including stuff like old gamemaker games, mugen...etc.. had it all backed up on my laptop but my harddrive died last year and i've been trying to figure out a way to recover and copy the data to repair it, but money's tight. if i manage to get it done i'll probably post the collection up somewhere cause i believe a good portion of them (especially the gamemaker stuff) can't be found anymore online

Yeah, I used to play those old school Toonami DBZ flash games too! Also played Gundam Wing: Wing Assault back then. Man, that game's title was as redundant as Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, heh.

I played the crap out of Tournament when I was a kid, but Mission to Namek just would never work. It's possible the mirror (likely Cartoon Network Australia) I was getting just had a bad upload. The version of Tournament I played also had no option for two player. so I guess they had an older version. I love the music from Tournament. It and the sound effects live rent free in my head to this day. In addition to the flash games we got with our snacks, there was also a Goku vs Majin Vegeta one that I vaguely remember, but for the life of me can't describe.

The only flash games I play again and again are Ultimate Flash Sonic and adrenalineChallenge. I didn't even know, that there existed Dragonball Flash games that are worth to play.
