Rock on! That query letter was great. It must be so gratifying that your agent wanted to use it for submission. Book recommendation: Eats, Shoots & Leaves. It’s the funniest book on punctuation in existence. (Possibly the only funny book on punctuation?) It might encourage comma use or give some insight into where the heck commas came from, and it’s a quick read. I’m glad you treated yourself to cupcakes, but I feel like you might have jet lag from the speed of your journey from querying to sub!

This is so exciting! I am on submission also and it's a surreal experience for sure. My agent put it out in the ether & each day for a week I received notice from her of these AMAZING editors who wanted to read. 😳we're up to 8 incredible choices and I'm hoping for a bid war. I also studied the publishers list and have narrowed down my top 3 choices just so I know. But girl it can sell to Kermit the frog for all I care. Funny thing tho this is not the book I queried. I'm still in revisions with that 1. This is one I just said hey can you take a look at & tell me your thought in the midst of frustrating revisions on the queried mss. She read it and put it on submission 2 days later! BOOM BABY! What a crazy ride! GOOD LUCK & see you on the top of a best sellers list!
