The golf r was the winner of the day it won the roll race and then they drew on the drag race. The golf won the 1st draggie when the rs3 had a brake issue and then the rs3 won the second draggie when the golf had an issue. Also the golf r had faster 0 to 60 and quarter of a mile time. It wasnt a draw it was a golf r win.

I admit, I did actually write it off last November but I had so many great times in it. Now rolling in an OG M2, which isn't as quick (it's standard), in a straight line, but is a bit more 'predictable' when sideways lol, and still very much a FUN car.

The 8Y RS3 is majorly limited atm in tuning. Once the ECU is unlocked and tuned for E85, that setup should be good for 750-800hp. Right now he's about on par with a stock engine/turbo FBO stage 2 E85 8V RS3. Kudos to that Golf, it's well built.

One thing to note is that Garret turbos really do the job. Turbo on the VW really outflowed the RS3, and the performance showed it. Do not underestimate a 2.0 litre turbo 👌and it's a 2.0 litre 😎

Hmm not sure 'nothing beats a 5 pot sound'. I know the sound of an engine is a personal opinion, so in reality, there can never be a 'best' sound, because it's something which is preferential to the listener, like music. I prefer the sound of a straight 6 over anything else, but a V8, or V10, or even a V12 all sound very nice in their own unique ways.

Still, if we are comparing engine sounds of vehicles in a certain 'price range', and assuming that price is dictating this imaginary 'league' then there are still many different engines from inline 4, to flat 4, to straight 6, to V6, to V8, and V10, all in this price range league my friend. An RS3 is a £54k car without options, so add the cost of the tuning to that, you are looking at a figure well into the £70k area. Lot's of cars new and used for that money with different engines, even V12's.

2 extra doors and 100kg difference is what made the difference…more power is easier to make than weight reduction. The DAZA 5-cylinder needs more boost/psi. The R 2.0T is basically maxed out. More lag for higher top end makes it a dog on the street. R in a 6-spd manual is my pick.

I actually did get this with a healthy deposit and pcp also spent 30k on the build I use the pcp to build up my credit as I have a few houses which are also financed could of payed the car off no problem but it helps for my credit portfolio, you need to start learning a bit about the world mate 👍💨, are you one of them guys who find missionary position fun 😂😂😂😂 lighten up mate I’m not a sheep I have my own personality and that’s all you see in the vid , after the race i took the golf lads passenger home over 180 miles gotta be passionate while racing and competitive or there no point
