I have cupra 280. It was actually 293bhp before mapping to stage 1 plus by NVM, now running 376bhp with 490nmt, DSG remap by dynomap. Has a larger TIP, with Ramair Inlet pipe, I’ve kept original air filter and box as there’s nothing better or any real gains on having anything else ! Proven when running it on rolling road with various air filters, Dog bone insert and PS4 tyres are essential on these to get any 0/40 traction, best 0-60 on a good dry Road was 4.25. But the fun comes after 40/50 all the way to the top !

Jamie, you need some billet shifter bushings!!!! Bracket/cable ends. Check out the clip when the gears banging in the engine bay, you can see how sloppy the stock ones are. Very good upgrade.

My younger brother had a monster Cupra these things are so underrated. He made 412bhp stage 2 before he sold it for an RS3 for traction as he said the Cupra ended up spinning with mitchellin ps4s. My A45 was stock back then and I could never keep up with him unless it rained. Anyways awesome car Jamie huge respect for a nice Cupra.

I was wondering about those turbo inlet pipes. They all claim to be bigger in diameter and allow more airflows, but the thing is they all come done to the same size right at the point where they hook onto the turbo. Meaning the air is forced to the smaller diameter once again. I doenst matter if it is forced right before the turbo or a longer time before that, diameter is diameter the turbo sucks the air in at a certain speed/power and is only capable to do more when the bar pressure is set higher. I believe these intake pipes are in essence a lot of bull. Or am I wrong?

Aup mate, got a 14 cupra with revo map stage 1 , 3’’ cobra cat back exhaust fromdeamon tweaks , revo lower torque mount , Revo transmission mount 334 bhp and 456nm. Bought it as it is, 30000 miles. (Semi auto with the paddle shafts) LOVE these cars mate and mine has some power can’t imagine what yours is gonna feel like! Loving the flames bro would love to compare sometime. Seat cupras are just the best looking hot hatch I think it will be a classic in years it has that timeless look about it. The golf n rs3 look the part but just basic they don't look flamboyant eye catching like the Focus Rs but the seat won't break like the Ford. Best of all worlds 🤭

It's not like the intercooler magically regulates the air temp to a specified level, it just helps to cool down whatever air comes through it... If the air's entering the intercooler hotter than it should be, then it's not gonna be leaving it as cool as it could be.
