Micah Gestrich Atilla begins about 20 years after Adrianople though. The WRE/ERE Emperors at the start are the brothers who inherited their halves of the empire from Valens' successor Theodosius, Honorius (WRE) and Arcadius (ERE, the dead one)

Devon, your narrative Let's Plays are absolutely awesome and I'm super glad you've decided to start one for Attila. The effort you put into them really shows, and I look forward to seeing more of your work. I don't know why these series have so few views, because they deserve a lot more. Every time I log into KZbin I check to see if you've uploaded another one of these.

@Aether9119 жыл бұрын
Still, Devin took quite a beating and I don't think he is going to be a threat for the roman in the near future, so they at least managed to gain a bit of time, which is better than what they did up to this point :P

true, but it's still a bit embarrassing for the romans.

Hey Devin, long time fan. I don't know if you had heard, the "Ancient Empires" mod for Attila is supposed to release on the 30th of September. I was wondering, are you going to be doing a series with it? Thank you for your time, and great content.

Not straight away, might do a little something just casually, but I probably will do a big proper series with it eventually, so much potential there!

Also, since I can't check sent messages, did I send you one yesterday? I suppose I'll know soon enough but not having an outbox makes me second guess myself. Either way, I love your narrative LPs and I'd love to both contribute and apply some of your ideas to a series I'm cooking up!

@skyhr9 жыл бұрын
Can you turn off friendly fire javelin? Or does the AI frequently make this mistake? I thought the AI automatically knows when to hold fire and when to actually fire?
@OfficiallyDevin9 жыл бұрын
+skyhr Not in Atilla, they did in Rome 2, managed to lose that ability that some point! So in Attila it is best to not fire at all unless you are in the front rows.
@raymondbenjamins58849 жыл бұрын
+OfficiallyDevin Yeah, that's kind of annoying in my opinion, since it makes skirmishers useless in open battles, except if you can flank the enemy. But even if you can flank them, you usually also have some cav to strike them in the back, which could end the battle faster.
@pauciloquentflibbertigibbe52179 жыл бұрын
Why don't you just sack every settlement, and then make a vassel of the former owners every time? Is that a bad idea for reasons I don't know.
@OfficiallyDevin9 жыл бұрын
River TWG No problem doing that. Only issue is you can't then sack or raze the settlement again if you want, and the ally gets a destroyed settlement so will be weak.
@pauciloquentflibbertigibbe52179 жыл бұрын
Thank you for replying! I just wasn't sure why it would be a bad idea.
