You should use your cavalry to do more "hammer and anvil" You will be able to kill a massive amount of enemies and easily chain rout weaker units.

+sumsar01 Issue is in attila you can't pull cav out once they are engaged as they die when they attempt to move through a unit. But if you rout them on the first charge it still works wonders.

bought total war attila and started an ostrogothic campaign, so far ive settled in south italy and im going to liberate italia south of rome to give me a buffer state in order to focus on sicily and take carthage

Another awesome episode yet again from a great series, and that guest narrator made the rivalries more deep with an accent.. also Devin you got lucky with the Huns wanting peace but always be careful with the liberated factions because they might get ambitious and stab you in the back.. which isn't always but most of the time.. and those times can be when the player is struggling staying afloat in the ocean of destruction.. great job again Devin, looking forward to the next one :D

Sorry just to let you know you can't upgrade germanic warband into gothic warband. There's been an patch so you need to recruit gothic warband from tier 3 military building.

Hey Devin I don't think you know that when u take on warriors you lose a majority of if not all xp gain in those fights... Just didn't know if you knew man.

cameron warner You lose it via normal replenishment as well, so I think in the end you have the same amount of experience either way, but take on warriors speeds things up a little.

Theres a mod that lets you recruit lower lev units. Good mod for making cheep armys for guarding and pub order etc. Not needed now. you need the best of the best when you are nomadic
