Well Al does routinely insult them, some episodes show he pit them against each other for his own benefit, seems honestly kind of neglectful... The Bundy's are in general terrible people which is why it's hilarious when bad stuff happen to them. They usually deserve it. Except for Kelly she seems to have a better head on her shoulders than the the rest of them.
