I love that Morrissey is still rockin' it! I will always have very special memories of hearing The Smiths for the first time playing on a jukebox inside a coffee shop on a very cold and rainy San Francisco New Year's Eve. Everyone was singing along to "This Charming Man," and it was a most romantic night. I've had a love affair with The Smiths and Morrissey's solo work ever since. This is a great song! I'm Bobby, The Smiths have ALWAYS been my favorite band, and I never knew Morrissey did this song.... It reminds me of coming out at 16.... I was so tired of pretending. But they didn't know, but I felt it my duty to make sure they know... And now it's okay to be gay.. That's awesome, cos it didn't used to be. I became the President of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance at my college (when I was 16) and we all fought for it to be okay! Those were some awesome years!

Seriously one of the best Moz tracks I've heard in some time. He seems to continue to grow as an artist, which seems strange to say about someone who has was always ahead of the curve. I love this sound from the backup/accompanying singer to the organ and piano riffs. It's refreashing to not hear his music so dependant on guitars. His voice sounds as good as ever!

Are you kidding? The back-up vocals seal this song, and serve as a perfect counterpoint to the lead lyrics. This is an epic album, and I'm sorry if I arrived a little late to the new one, but this has the creative urgency and passion I remember from the 80's and 90's, remarkable even after the first track, much like the first time I listened to Vauxhall and I. Such a wonderful flow and passion, and lyrics you want to dive into for days upon days.
