The scene shows the acting talent of Tom Holland. I loved how after May said the famous iconic line, Peter is looking at her with strong emotion, remorse, and maybe a little hope. It painted the scenario that he remembered that's what Uncle Ben said to him and the fact he is hearing it from her brought that memory back. Same moment when Peter II spoke the quote and MCU's Peter had a shocked look on his face. It's those subtle facial expressions that Tom Holland uses in order to capture the necessary emotion making it more powerful.

9:28 what’s sadder than aunt may dying is seeing Peter furious after getting shot , ready to attack, but fortunately Happy told him to just run. Angry 17 year old Peter Parker shot up and running from the law for something he didn’t do. ☹️

When I first saw this movie in theaters, I didn't actually cry when May died, but I felt so sorry for Peter nonetheless. And the reason why I didn't cry over May's death was because I was "talked-down" by my mom and my healthcare advocate over money issues a week before this movie came out, which made me very upset. Over the years, I feel like I have regrets about it.

That's why Green Goblin is archenemy of Spider Man. Peter fought Cap and Co, Vulture, Mysterio, and damn Thanos but only Norman Osborn is able to break him mentally.
@HAMMY59911 күн бұрын
it wasn't norman osborn it was the green goblin curse that he had that affected him to become evil and the green goblin was controling him

I have noticed this a lot of times that since IronMan died, Cap became old and thor went to the other world, all humans became kind of asshole to all the other younger superheroes. Just like here, swat arrested hogan and shot at spiderman. It's like the big threes were these young heroes protectors and the world also loved them but the world turned its back on all the other mcu heroes

I know this is an emotional scene, but I can’t be the only one who notices that Aunt May is dressed like Violet Beauregarde from Willy WONKA (1971).

This movie was amazing but it drives me crazy how much Spiderman takes off his mask and fights without it. Why even wear the costume? 😂😂😂

He's not gonna do that stupid shit anymore in next movie lmao that's for sure

because he didn’t have the mask on him during this fight😭 he literally got jumped in his own home

Pete definitely could’ve used the Defenders help here. Would’ve still been a toss up but this was rough 😂

The moral of whole movie lies in this line: with great powers come great responsibilities and thats one of the main themes of life

not enough movies do this, losing someone important is often too hard to believe.

Wasn't Aunt May barefoot earlier in the scene? How did she put shoes on so fast in the few seconds she was off-screen until Peter told her to run?
@12classics393 ай бұрын
What hurts the most is that May’s grave doesn’t say, and will never say, “Aunt.” It was the absolutely defining role of her life and she now will never be remembered as such because of the spell.

When may was lying on the floor dying I had no idea that she was bleeding out I just thought that Peter knew she was not breathing

I wish the Goblin had put this amount of effort into the final fight. It would have made Peter not holding back more brutal and badass.
