The husband's demise "By the Sea" inspired a later movie both written and directed by Angelina Jolie in 2015 co-starring both her third husband, Brad Pitt, and herself. Although this flic flopped, she was able to negatively frame their relationship on the silver screen and shower him in limelight by conning him like a serf in her cinematic landscape into portraying violence against her while she was able to frame herself with martyrdom. It's strange to see such poor references coupled to such vindictive cunning. As Oscar Wilde said, "Life imitates Art" and this is no exception but yuck. S.A.L.T. is replete with tacky Russian stereotypes devoid of intrinsic intellectual vigour, which cheapen an already flimsy plot and render it indigestible. It's pure Yankee nonsense.
