It was definitely done with purpose and intent. No director, actor, nor writer would've done that by accident regarding Arthurian legends. 🙂 It's literal and figurative allegory for breaking all ties; the final straw to set the story's major conflict in motion.

This film was SUCH a wonderfully written powerhouse of storytelling. And say what you wish about whoever you did or didn't like in the film, but as someone with 30+ years experience, I can safely say that the performances matched the material, and the director obviously blended action with the more elegant side of the old Arthurian legends. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨

Those are the worst costumes in any fantasy/medieval/middle age story ever conceived of. Any this is by far the worst rendition of Arthurian Legend imaginable to include those shit slogs based on Romano-Britain Arthur early 2000s. Monty Python costumes were better, hell porn in the 80s had better costumes and hair the was more fantasy/period appropriate. This movie is a crime against humanity. If a small country as produce this in the 90s NATO and the United States would have invaded them. Sean Connery lost ALL of his legendary status here and Richard Gere proved all the gerbils rumor true beyond a fraction of a doubt by taking part in this.
