these aren't the big tournaments, its just the regular tour thats open to tour card holders (you can earn a tourcard by qualifying through Q-School at the start of the year). These Players Championships allow you to earn money which is counted towards the order of merit, and qualify for the bigger tournaments. Like golf or tennis there are events where you can earn more price money and are more prestigious. these are the matches that will be played in front of an audience. Those tournaments are the Euro Tour events, the major events and the word championships. All of these count toward the order or merit. Finally there is the Premier League of darts, which is a weekly tour through all of the british isles, the netherlands and germany. This premier league of darts is basically a traveling roadshow in the biggest of stadiums/concert halls to promote darts, while very lucrative and prestigious, it is strictly invitational and does NOT count towards the order of merit

@@robertorosmoreno5991 I think it was because the referee was still tapping in the scores when Van was setting himself to throw.. Both players are quick so theres going to be times when the ref will struggle to input the scores. Same for both players, van just seemed a bit more stressed out about it.
