Great stuff as usual, Connor. The old cliche of never get too up and never get too down is key I think this season. It’s exciting to see City when they are at full strength and on song. Today was a tough watch. The positive direction that JHT is taking us is clear to see. Is promotion really a talking point this season? Additions in January may help but an inject of talent in the summer could turn this team into a Championship power next season.

great summary as usual Connor; we'll all be patient - we're not ready yet for promotion but we may make the playoffs by a decent 2nd half season. Keep your spirits up!

A lot of championship teams seem to be getting topsy-turvy results and Norwich are no different. It takes time to build a squad to challenge for promotion and I agree, Connor that there's no need to panic. Angus Gunn alone could have made a big difference to our league position but it's not George Long's fault our No1 got injured. OTBC!

The contrasting performances in the wins over Watford and Hull highlight just how crucial a few key players are -when they’re out, we lack the squad depth to effectively cover those vital positions.

I think you’ve got it spot on. I hope JHT doesn’t become disillusioned because he’s been dealt a really tough hand just now. I was surprised he didn’t bring on Stacey in place of Gordon, who seems to be completely lacking in confidence. Also, was expecting Crnac to have a much better first touch for someone who cost a lot of money.

Really enjoy these verdicts. Win, lose or draw it’s always very insightful.

Long costs us a goal every single game

Reminded me lots of the Millwall game at Christmas last season.

Anyone know why we signed Crnac.???

More to the point, why did long get a new contract? Useless.

The unprecedented level of injuries plus the suspension of Kenny McLean have caused Norwich, for the time being, to unravel. It seems Sargent needs surgery so he won’t be back quickly. It will take a miracle for Norwich to retain their unbeaten home run. Any team will fancy their chances against this depleted Norwich side.

I feel Stacey in at right back and Fisher in the midfield would help.

we always have an injury crisis every season we always lack depth and surely archie mair must notice that if he cant get into the team now he never will

Have to change the keeper. You could see the defender reactions after both goals. They have no faith in him. He's worth 2 goals a game

A very fragile squad . I was hoping for a point tonight , our defence doesn't offer much confidence.

Why do we have massive not just a few injury crises every season? Surely someth needs to be investigated

Awful tooth pulling display, only sainz tried to play last night and eventually even he had his energy sucked out by the rest of the team. Can't wait to get the rest of the team back............until then though 😢

Dreadful display, lack of intensity, slow and boring, the complete antithesis of "Hoff Ball". Bristol will be a challenge if we play like that OTBC 💛💚

Can't believe long is a keeper you sure ? he's dreadful 🤦🤦🤦 shouldn't even be no where near the squad id rather put my gran in goal

Awful. Get rid of Long. Stop playing Doyle not as a CB. Get Stacey back in the Team. Crmac is not good enough. Forsen the same. Springett in the team. Until our players are back. Bristol City will stuff us.
