I am also a fan of Kpop but still love listening to UNDERRATED hindi songs and South indian music. All I meant is that unless u support the underrated ones, u will never get them to the extraordinary level. When all u listen to are company songs, its kinda obvious that they will dominate the platform. For example, there were many incidents of T-series creating problems for talented individual artists of India. If we support them, many more talented people would rise. If we support shit, obviously shit is something which would be highlighting and would lower the standards of Indian music. That's all I want to say.

All I said was that lets also encourage our talent from our country. For example, J-pop used to enjoy the same level of popularity in 2000's K-pop does now. Kpop is actually inspired from Jpop (Japanese pop). I just believe that tomorrow another music genre and language might become more popular than Kpop (TBH Change is inevitable) from any part of the world. All I say is that don't limit yourself to one genre of music. Its better to explore otherwise I am afraid K-pop would turn into a toxic place of fanbases (already starting to happen)... I watched this video a year back and I did not know who Eric Nam was then, In December 2019, I came across K-pop and watched all of Mamamoo stuff, then got to know who Eric Nam was, he recently released his new track 'Paradise' which kinda grew on me after multiple listens, and now this video was somehow recommended to me again in my KZbin feed and I was surprised to see a familiar face from Korea that reacted to Indian artists. When the first time I watched it, his reactions seemed over the top towards Indian music, but now on the second watch, I feel like I know where he was coming from and his opinion made sense somehow. Our point of view in life changes when we know the person and their experiences, which helps us understand their opinion better. This made me happy.
