Western sanctions have sharply curtailed Russia’s ability to replenish the munitions it is using in Ukraine, according to a new analysis from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, forcing Moscow to task its intelligence services with finding ways to evade restrictions and procure the critical technology and parts to sustain its war effort. #CNN #News

Tankies and bots tried convincing ppl otherwise, but those who’ve studied that war say the USSR would have collapsed without US aid, but not the other way around. When that happens the United States will attack Russia come and then Russia is going to attack with tactical nuclear missiles, it can escalate. Now listen to me you damn fool. You are in the north and hemisphere Canada where it's already freezing cold, too cold for my California bones! When that nuclear winter takes over that whole section, where the summer afternoon looks like a moonless midnight. And it's freezing cold, you have no food no shelter you are going to die sir you and your whole family. You do not fight a nuclear country like this. You continue to push this man into a corner more and more we're in trouble. So get off the damn internet because you don't know what the hell you're talking about. The United States started this NATO was involved in the ukraine, Russia do it, they felt as if though they were getting closer to Nato and it's borders the United States planned this whole thing. They wanted Russia to attack, that way they can sanction russia. Isolate and weaken it, this was the whole idea this was the whole plan, so that the United States can now later move on to china. But it is like you don't know, you get your information from CNN only do not read you do not research you do nothing.. sit down clown

@@Sidmen2200 It is. In August 1939, in Rome, the greeting "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!" was born officially. This happened at the second congress of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) who collaborated with German Nazi Party. The greeting became obligatory for members of the OUN and was reflected in the resolutions of the congress: The greeting in the organization is in the form of raising the straightened right arm at an angle to the right just above the head. The current words of the full greeting are: “Glory to Ukraine”, the answer is “Glory to the Heroes”. Similar greetings, as you know, existed among members of the German NSDAP, among the Croatian Ustashe and among supporters of the Italian National Fascist Party. CNN says that Russia has big problems getting weapons. It is time for CNN to end this propaganda b.s. which is not serving Ukraine any meaningful purpose. If Russia is really short of weapons, these many missiles would not have been fired in the first place. Also, some of the targets in Kyiv were destroyed by Iran made UAVs. The "Gas" that Germany and other countries was getting from Russia was "Natural Gas" & Propane. That fires the stove and the furnace. . Petrol which the U.S. calls gasoline was NOT coming from Russia, petrol comes from crude oil then they distill it to get all the fuels, petrol and diesel and asphalt & plastics (except Natural Gas) Russia was importing oil from Iraq, Iran(but it is a minimal amount because hardly anybody has a CAR. Most cars would be diesel and most fuel would be diesel for the military vehicles. Kerosene is coal oil which can also be used in diesel engines. Jets fly on kerosene (as at high altitude diesel will jell up in fuel lines which in a car is no big deal but at 10,000 feet it matters) . The reason for the increased fuel prices is that CEO's are giving themselves a wage increase and blaming the disruption on fuel supplies to the Hurricanes and the tie up in the Suez canal that took a dozen days to fix. Fuel is part of the supply chain. Then Wall Street investors are shorting the stock which artificially raises the price at the pump...as they make money. They got caught once doing that but I guess the fine was not big enough. . In short, we get no oil from Russia.

@@kwlkid85 I am not sure what you meant that "America doesn't". Biden funded semiconductor fabs just in case China decides to invade Taiwan and takes over TSMC fab, which is the biggest fab dominating semiconductor technologies. That doesn't mean US don't have any semiconductor to fab chipset, giving few names here Global Foundry(acquired IBM TSI Foundry), Intel (its fabs have capability to meet world demand, just like they fab CPU, GPU, SoC chipsets), Samsung, Microchip, Jazz, UMC, etc. Most US DoD contractors high tech either have their own or fab with Global Foundry, which is US company. Northdrop and DARPA have their own fab for all classified chips.

I read an article on that problem and it seem the US had a problem in the first M1A1's Abrams' turrets were lifted off simply by the power of an IED, without a secondary explosion. The Russian tanks have the problem but from a different design flaw, what is called the “jack-in-the-box effect,” this type of apocalyptic explosion is caused when a blast’s heat or shockwave causes all the tank’s ammunition to detonate. The resulting over pressure blows the tank’s turret straight up into the air.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned here, but consumer grade components are lower rated than higher grade commercial, industrial and military graded parts. Generally ICs for consumer goods are encased in plastic, while higher graded parts are often encased in metal or ceramic cases. That’s for higher rated temperatures and higher vibration resistance. That’s obviously needed for military equipment, and particularly ordnance such as smart shells, bombs, missiles, etc. consumer grade goods may fail under those conditions. They are not rated at the number of gravities that shells and missiles undergo. They are designed for products sitting firmly on the floor or a shelf.🇺🇸🇺🇦
