My mom lost her brother, he was being transported in a hell ship with other Americans prisoners of war. She also was an officer in the military. Btw, the sketchy wheelchair ramp .... if it looks scary to go down.. imagine trying to push yourself UP something like that. We have a post office here that has a ramp that is literally impossible to push ourselves up and dangerous to go down. Not to mention that the end of the ramp is directly in front of a main entrance door. If someone is coming down that steep ramp at the same time someone opens that door from inside ..... WHAM! Needless to say, I have no access to my own post office, and even if I manage to get help from someone to get up the ramp, I risk a serious accident into a glass door coming back out.

I used to work for both county and city governments for 24 years here in Florida and not once what I have acted that way nor would any of my employees acted that way, and if they did, they would be reprimanded. IKR, I was never rude to the public when I worked for public office. I knew from the start that it was not my place to mistreat the public. Boy those ladies, Lori and Michelle, in the planning department needs some education and attitude adjustment BIG TIME! Michelle's face expression and her apologies are like "whatever!". Personally, Michelle needs to be closely supervised and a compliant stick on her records. Lori, her apologies are half hearted but sees justification in her behavior as correct when it really isn't but not as bad and Michelle. Diane is STELLAR!!!!!!!! She oozes professionalism, and a great personality! She treats Josh and Anna with such rapport and I think she would be a delight to have tea and cookies with! And the rest of the staff as well! I sincerely hope the board will see how good Diane took care of the situation and promote her up where she really deserved to be at. Diane is ONE of a kind and the citizens and the board should be proud of having her!
