yea i noticed that. I feel like its a good comparison to how each generation of teens in real life have to deal with a more and more hectic world. things just keep getting more and more fast paced and crazy as time goes on.

It's been years since it was aired but I will always remember Liv's episode this season, it had such a strong impact in my life and helped me cope with my own grief, loss and fear of death. I really enjoyed gen 3 a lot.

i think the third generation started really bad, the characters weren't defined and didn't even have personalities yet, you can see that in franky's episode they are all just reacting to her arriving and being weird, and yes, it was her episode, but still, it was terrible writing for being the debut of this new generation, BUT by episode 3 or 4 the stories and characters get very interesting, then season 6 really made me love this generation, just like i loved the first two

I love skins Every Season...although the US Skins, its not that it was bad...it just wasnt nearly as good as the UK Skins. Ive seen Seasons 1-4 and 7 eight times and i still love them both and i didnt watch 5-6 cause i heard they were bad; i recently just watched 5-6 and people lied to me they are REALLY good there just different from the original 4...in a way it reminded me of the first season, were the first season was the start of the show with new kids and a era; where as season 5 is the beginning of a new and different era away from the original 4. I appeciate and respect that alot; it STILL touched my heart and got me emotional and crying ALOT just like the other seasons. Plus seasons 5-6 are still better than half the crap on tele today. Skins is good no matter the season. skins is skins, SKINS IS LIFE WOOOOH!!!

The 3rd Gen at least made progress over 2 seasons while the writers fucked everything up during Series 4.. i even think Gen2 is overrated. Effy didn‘t had that magic anymore like on the First 3 Seasons. I think what really drove the Show back then was Cook! I mean Naomi and Emil were popular too But otherwise it was More Cook.

i think that the reason a lot of people didn't like this gen was because if you didn't notice it followed a very similar formula to a typical american teen tv shows but it didn't went to the full fake-af extent. i personally ended up enjoying this gen as well as the others.

I grew up watching this gen on mtv, so the first thing i did was watching this one complete first and then watched the other previous gen's. Don't know why this one had so much hate, i related to it a few times and when i was a teen, i wanted to have a little of the liberty these teens had in the show for myself, just to feel somehow alive like them but i don't mean drugs and part but the sense of having friends and going places with them. Didn't mind that this gen hadn't any directo relation to the others, except for professors Doug and Blood and others. It was a good generation. Grace's death always get me sad.

Don’t care what anyone says, the writers clearly ran out of time so had Mini fall pregnant with Alo instead of being with Frankie, which causes their season 7 episode of Mini and Frankie to be axed. The writers are the reason there is no gen 4.

This one is the worse of all the series, I wish that instead of this season they would countinue the 4 season, because they could finish it and clear everything out, like what happened after Cook find out that Freddie is dead, how Effy reacted when she found out that and stuff like that. ://But oh well, this season is still pretty good.
