That's how I felt about music from my parents' era. They played everything from Bobby Womack to Curtis Mayfield to The Temptations to Otis Redding and so many more. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized how good the music is. If you really listen to the lyrics to the songs from that era (Bobby Womack is my favorite.), they will put you up on a lot of game.
