Not sure if it's been said yet, but one trick I've always done with big plots of fertile land + needing a road is this: I'll build a road to the center of the fertile land to get the farmland/orchards built, then slowly demolish the roads as I move my way back out of fertile land and put in more farmland/orchards as I move out! You only have to have roads nearby to build stuff, not to keep it functioning. If you don't have any granaries built close by it can make for a bit of lost food because of travel time, but at least you'll be able to utilize all of the good land for farms and not be hindered by roads. 😊

omg i never thought you would play this game! i love this game and its a great time killer and easy to record tips: sell coal for stone (at docks) |||| wall off all of your land ||||| and make bow units cuz they help alot |||| leave a bit of land for wood ||| and have the dock where that river is so u can have sea gates blocking it BATHHOUSES ARE A MUST have fun and hope its series is good
