INFJ Heyoka here🙌🏾 Thank you, for bringing this subject to the forefront, as many are not familiar with the Heyoka. I'm Indegenous so I have been familiar with the term for quite some time, however, your explanation broadens the aspect of how we really help heal others as well as ourselves. Grateful for your time and guidance ✨️
@TheCentralSun2 күн бұрын
The term "Heyoka" is rooted in Native American Lakota tradition and refers to a type of "sacred clown" or contrarian figure, who challenges norms and conventions through humor, paradox, and unconventional behavior. In modern discussions, a "Heyoka" is often seen as someone who is a mirror, reflecting back societal attitudes, behavior, and emotions in a way that forces people to confront them, often through humor or unexpected actions. As for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), it doesn't have a direct one-to-one correlation with the concept of a Heyoka. However, people who might embody traits similar to the Heyoka archetype are often seen as unconventional, introspective, and unafraid to challenge authority or expectations. These types might include: 1. INFP (The Mediator): * INFPs are known for their idealism, strong inner values, and desire to make a difference. They may challenge societal norms or express their uniqueness in ways that others find difficult to understand. Their deep sense of individualism and empathy could reflect the Heyoka's role as a mirror to others' emotions and behaviors. 2. ENFP (The Campaigner): * ENFPs are known for their creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to see possibilities. They often act as catalysts for change and challenge conventional ideas. With their extroverted intuition, they can act as "provocateurs," pushing others to see the world in new, surprising ways. 3. INFJ (The Advocate): * INFJs are often described as visionaries and deep thinkers who want to change the world for the better. They might embody the Heyoka's paradoxical nature by speaking truths in ways that disrupt comfort zones. They also have a keen ability to understand the inner workings of others and might act as a mirror to help people grow. 4. ENFJ (The Protagonist): * ENFJs are empathetic and charismatic, often leading others with a sense of purpose. They can challenge societal norms and inspire others to act in unexpected ways. Their ability to read people and communicate deeply could mirror the Heyoka's role of reflection and disruption. In a broader sense, any MBTI type with a strong ability for unconventional thinking, challenging norms, and deep introspection could be seen as a potential "Heyoka." However, it's important to remember that the Heyoka archetype is more about behavior and energy than it is about specific personality types, so it can manifest in various ways depending on an individual's growth and experiences. In Human Design, "Heyoka" is a term often used in spiritual or shamanistic contexts to refer to a specific type of energy, typically associated with a person who serves as a mirror for others, often in a way that may seem paradoxical, playful, or challenging to those around them. However, in the strict Human Design terminology, the term "Heyoka" isn't an official designation like Types or Authorities. That being said, people often associate the concept of the Heyoka with certain types of individuals who embody unconventional or transformative roles, and these types can sometimes be found in specific Human Design Types, especially those who embody an archetype of reflection and disruption. For example: 1. Reflectors: Reflectors in Human Design are rare (about 1% of the population) and are known for their deeply reflective nature. They are highly sensitive to the energies around them and can mirror the environment and the people they interact with. This reflective quality can be similar to the Heyoka energy, as they might show others a true reflection of themselves, often in a way that is unexpected or unsettling. 2. Manifestors: Manifestors are designed to initiate and catalyze change. While they are not directly linked to the Heyoka archetype in Human Design, they can embody the disruptive, sometimes challenging, and transformative energy that could align with the idea of a Heyoka-someone who provokes change and challenges the status quo. The core of the Heyoka archetype in both spiritual and Human Design terms involves reflecting truth in a way that can sometimes be disruptive, humorous, or unexpected-mirroring others' behaviors and prompting growth. These individuals can be seen as agents of change or awakening, even if their methods seem unorthodox. If you're looking for more specifics in terms of exact profiles or lines that align with the Heyoka concept, you'd want to explore how someone's chart reflects roles of transformation, disruption, and reflection. Chat gpt You said: What about projectors ChatGPT said: ChatGPT In Human Design, Projectors could also be seen as embodying some elements of the Heyoka archetype, though not in the official terminology. Projectors are one of the four Types in the system, and they are known for their ability to guide and direct others. Unlike Manifestors or Generators, who have an internal motor to act, Projectors are designed to wait for recognition and invitation before taking action. Projectors and the Heyoka Archetype: 1. Reflection and Guidance: Projectors are highly perceptive and can see others in ways they don't always see themselves. This quality of insight can sometimes lead to a disruptive effect, similar to the Heyoka, as they might show people their truths in ways that others may not expect. Like the Heyoka, they are often mirrors to others' behaviors and patterns. This reflection can be uncomfortable but also transformational, as it encourages growth and change. 2. Non-traditional Role: Heyokas are often seen as unconventional, sometimes challenging social norms and expectations. Projectors also occupy a non-traditional role in society; they are not here to work in the same way that Generators or Manifestors are. Instead, their role is to guide and manage others, and they do so by using their unique perspective to offer wisdom. This can be seen as "disruptive" to established systems, much like the Heyoka figure, who challenges norms through their unexpected ways of being. 3. Invitations and Recognition: One crucial aspect of being a Projector is that they thrive when they are invited and recognized. This mirrors the idea of the Heyoka in that they don’t push themselves forward but rather have a transformative effect when the right conditions (invitations) are present. Their influence comes from the outside, and their effectiveness often hinges on how others perceive them and allow them to guide. 4. Challenging and Guiding Others: Much like a Heyoka might challenge others through humor or paradox, Projectors can sometimes challenge people to see themselves more clearly-by offering insight, perspective, or even constructive criticism. This can lead to discomfort, but also to significant growth and awakening, much like the role a Heyoka plays in a spiritual or shamanistic sense. In conclusion, while Projectors aren't formally labeled as Heyokas in Human Design, they share a lot of similar qualities in terms of reflecting, guiding, and challenging others. Their role is to be wise guides who, when invited and recognized, can offer profound insight and transformation to those around them-sometimes in a way that may feel disruptive but ultimately is meant to help others evolve.

Perfect sense. People feel weird around us without knowing why. Humor helps them drop the ego to think a bit
@katiehorneshaw9952 күн бұрын
Thank you for this. This describes my existence exactly. People have always had weird and sometimes very full on responses to me, and I mean to me just walking past them or standing next to them in a line. But since I started to ascend it's wild! People legit just openly stare at me- they forget normal manners. And if we interact, they almost always seem extremely uncomfortable to begin with... but I've learned that if I allow myself to be totally authentic (no small talk) and share a funny thought I was just having or recount something ridiculous I just saw or whatever, they immediately light up and go from uncomfortable to 100% relaxed and open. From there, I've often made a great deal of progress with helping to crack people's fixed belief prisons. I was struggling to determine what aspect of the use of humour Sarah was referring to, because she didn't give any anecdotal examples! Humour can be used in a million subtle, targeted ways, all with very different intentions, receptions, and on different frequencies, so I wasn't able to place the exact energy/dynamic she was referring to.

One time this young woman stood in front of me and laughed, eventually stopped, then started laughing again, over and over, because she found me highly attractive. A lot of women did back then. This went on for about 15 minutes, which is the same amount of time it took another woman to calm down from feeling fear and excitement for the same reason, while I calmly and patiently waited. I later asked the second woman why she had that reaction and she said it was because she had been hurt by good looking men before, and a woman would sort of forget that she was married or had a boyfriend. In fact, her husband was standing there with us, but they were very liberal, for all I know they had an open relationship aka "free love." She was a massage therapist and although they were both black belts, sort of new age hippie types. In fact, it was the first time I was at their place, which was for group meditation, which took place on a weekly basis, and she and I became friends. Her son and husband would go to bed and she and I would stay up and talk until late at night. I used to experience that sort of thing a lot. Women said I reminded them of Jim Morrison, and women would shake and practically have an out-of-body experience around me. I called it, "If a woman is really attracted to you, she doesn't know whether to eff you, kill you, or run." One woman wouldn't even look at me. I could sense her deliberately avoiding eye contact. I hooked up with her and later asked why she wouldn't even look at me at first. She replied, "I was afraid you would get me." Every woman I asked why they did this or didn't do that gave me the same basic answer, "I was scared" or "I was afraid." Another woman was really shy around me and sort of hid behind something when I was around, then slowly warmed up to me and eventually laughed at almost everything I said. Then one day, I smelled patchouli and asked her if she was wearing it. She froze, so I asked her if she didn't like patchouli. She told me that other girls had teased her about wearing it. I told her that I love patchouli. Yet another woman invited me over to her place. It was obvious she was interested in me. At some point, I went to kiss her and she froze and started crying. Same thing, she'd been hurt before and was afraid. I suggested we lie on her bed and just cuddle, which we did, and she did a 180, opening up and becoming happy and excited. I didn't take it further than that, feeling that she would get back together with her boyfriend, which she did. Eventually, I learned how to make women laugh. Every woman has a little girl inside her, even if she's 80, and it's the little girl who's doing the laughing. The little girl simply becomes covered up, hidden behind various ego defenses because she doesn't want to experience pain. "I've found out why people laugh. They laugh because it hurts so much, because it's the only thing that'll make it stop hurting." - Valentine Michael Smith, Stranger in a Strange Land "Put on a happy face" in the context of the Joker refers to the act of forcing a smile or appearing happy even when you are not, mirroring the character's facade as a clown while internally struggling with deep pain and mental instability, often highlighted by his exaggerated, painted-on grin; it essentially means to hide your true emotions and present a cheerful exterior, just like the Joker does with his makeup. The Joker's exaggerated smile is a key visual representation of his troubled psyche, where he hides his true feelings behind a mask of happiness.

@@Viejo-verde I could go on an on about some stories. Attractive people are more often lonely and intimidate others by appearance alone. Of course it varies depending on circumstances but I read others so easily that it can be difficult for friendships. Sometimes I outgrow it or lose interest. Poly or mono doesn’t matter, interest switched a lot growing up for relationships. My loyalty is never in question though and I can’t date someone who is insecure. It will never work. Women I have had intercourse with long for me again and those I haven’t or set up boundaries only crave me more. They know. Women are smarter than you realize. The craziest thing is being a Heyoka and not knowing for most of their life until they finally understand what it was all along
@Salulu963Күн бұрын
Not knowing is probably a most Necessary thing, in my opinion. It's because you have no awareness of that role, that you are able to develop in a pure and natural way. You have to feel like a black sheep. You have to feel misunderstood. If you expect it, it won't sand you down like it has. perhaps if you know you are you won't become. If you become, you will know you are. Maybe it will elude you until... one day, you hear it. Heyoka? and CLicK . you are, or you aren't. But only one of those people gives a shit. The other one just carries on like business as usual but with a new concept of self. One that's already fully formed and very familiar but now has it's own identity that makes logical sense, and mostly "kind of interesting, because for the past couple years I just assumed it was a Japanese word. I didn't even look it up; that's how certain I was..." And THAT is the craziest thing. In my opinion ;) Peace out

Thank you for the amazing and insightful video about the Heyoka Empath! I find a deep connection between this archetype and the principles of Human Design, especially for Projectors. As someone who is always seeking truth through inner observation, I see the Heyoka as a model that challenges norms and presents truth in a way that both disrupts and heals simultaneously. The Heyoka's ability to bridge light and shadow, bringing light at exactly the right moment, reminds me of how Projectors operate-not from a place of urgency, but from the need to wait for invitations and respond with precise intuition. Like the Heyoka, we reflect the truth of others, not always seeking to lead or control, but to guide from a place of deep understanding of energetic dynamics. I believe the theme of connecting the sacred and the mundane discussed here is crucial for spiritual development. The Heyoka serves as a bridge, not only between realms but also between opposing aspects of consciousness. It's not an easy task, but through this power of reflection and divine humor, we can move toward deep healing and a new spiritual understanding.

Thank you for inviting me into your room. We’re all connected with each other with nature with consciousness. You’ve been a great help and helping me in my journey. Continue on sharing the knowledge and wisdom that you have been sharing. I’m very grateful for you.

Thank you for saying that amusement and humor and satire are high vibration. I frequently try to suppress my dry sense of humor because I thought no one got it and that it wasn’t doing any good. Even if people don’t get it, I see now that it might be doing some good! ❤😮😂

I have experienced the thing you just described many times in my adult life. I keep trying to bring humor into every situation anyway, and I have found the people who get me become more and more common. I hope you continue to pull out those jokes even if you're the only one who laughs.

Thank you, Sarah, for the depths of your educational style, your vision, wisdom and insights. Thank you for speaking truth with courage and integrity. This is the timespace for us to grow up and if we are blessed and gifted with Heyoka empaths in our direct experience, may we honor them and ourselves (and our own potential to employ and reconnect to our own wide range of Heyoka abilities) and allow consciousness to continue to expand.

Thank you so much for explaining in such detail. I see much more clearly now. I feel a lot, and I am often times pretty bold with showing the other side. Lately I refine that skill into less brutal, more loving approach. Thank you for your support. 🙏 🌺

There's always room for tactfulness. I'm learning that. :) But then there are also times for being blunt/to the point/direct. Good luck. :)

Then you haven't spoken it enough to the wrong people. I'm like, "I know where your eyes are, but your are nice, too!" "The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it." - George Orwell It all began with a few fig leaves...

Thank you ! I have struggled with my behavior for years, even though I knew I was correct. My early years were very confrontational. After many years of learning, and uderstanding the other, other, other, side of coin, humor became my tool of choice. I find humor so much less confrontational, therefore, effective. I just love it when someone says to me asshole with a smile or not.

This other Empath student and I used to lock horns in an online forum. One time our teacher commented, "I will have the utmost respect for whichever one of you is the first to drop this." I contacted her later and told her that I felt the problem was that we were too much alike. She agreed.

I’ve been doing this unknowingly with my husband and his resistance to higher consciousness ( spirit world ) . He doesn’t have to run out of the room when I talk about synchronicity and energy any more! 😅 He’ll even joke about certain events being “ due to the energy”….he’s getting it!

Oh my gosh......thank you thank you thank you. You have just explained me to me. Thank you for helping me understand why Im nothing like other sensative or empaths. Such a relief. People would say oh your so amazing and good and I would tell no, that Im not. I say that im both. Good and bad for all the best reasons of healing. I have a deep understanding of dark as much as light. And thats normal for someone like me, thank you universe! I want to learn more, please.....

Thank YOU for sharing Truth/Clarity. I have been guided towards working with 2 Ascended Masters. I referenced one of them as being known for his sense of humor and myself as being a rebel/trickster. I kept getting messages regarding "my truth" and was instructed to do mirror work and look through my higher self's eyes. This video came into my frame immediately after seeing "you asked for clarity and now it's coming."🙏 Blessings of Abundance and infinite LOVE sent to you.💚💜💛🦅

Out Of Touch Daryl Hall & John Oates Shake it up is all that we know Using bodies up as we go I'm waking up to fantasy The shades all around are the colors we used to see Broken ice still melts in the sun And ties that are broken can often be one again We're soul alone And soul really matters to me Take a look around You're out of touch I'm out of time (time) But I'm out of my head when you're not around You're out of touch I'm out of time (time) But I'm out of my head when you're not around Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh Reaching out for something to hold Looking for a love where the climate is cold Manic moves and drowsy dreams Living in the middle between the two extremes Smoking guns hot to the touch Would cool down if we didn't use them so much, yeah We're soul alone And soul really matters to me Too much You're out of touch I'm out of time (time) But I'm out of my head when you're not around You're out of touch I'm out of time (time) But I'm out of my head when you're not around Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (Out of touch, out of touch) You're out of touch I'm out of time But I'm out of my head when you're not around (You're out of touch) I'm out of time (time) (But I'm out of my head when you're not around) around (You're out of touch) we're soul alone, girl (I'm out of time) But I'm out of my head when you're not around (not around) (You're out of touch) (I'm out of time) out of touch (But I'm out of my head when you're not around) out of time, girl (You're out of touch) Reach out for something to hold (time) (But I'm out of my head when you're not around) too cold, girl (You're out of touch) too cold, girl (I'm out of time) too cold, girl Yeah, hope you will listen (not around) (You're out of touch) out of touch (I'm out of time) out of time, out of touch (But I'm out of my head when you're not around) (You're out of touch) yeah I'm out of time (time) (But I'm out of my head when you're not around...)

Yeah, that is so true.After loosing my life a few times and more stuff that I wish nobody has to go trough I definitely developed my humor skills to creatively learn how to manage to talk about things and telling something what happened in a special way that brings me back to the situation and making jokes about everything and myself helps my a lot or ables me more to speak about things that really hurt…for example.

Heyyy, that sounds like me! I have always been metaphoric in nature. Often when life coaching I can hear someone's details, then give them a metaphor that I hear in the moment that helps them see outside of their lived experience. Very powerful
