While TM is a _spectacular_ company, I want to say that they had to hold back on the cosmetics and mag cap just a little bit since this is the first EAS (I think it sounds better than AES) of its kind. It would be interesting to see what some of the prototypes were like before settling on this design.

I've never been a tri barrel fan even the gas shotguns, I don't like that the barrel are never uniform each barrel kind of does what it wants but the fact that you can tune each hop up you can probably get a nice small consistent spread

Nice video, but for all who want this gun, it will die on any battery over 8,4v nmh or 7,4 lipo and if you used an battery over these, you wont get your money back because the manuel says dont use anything more powerful.

Since this review the SGR-12 has appeared which looks like a gun, not like a plastic box (I know the real AA-12 looks like that too), and I actually like that one, but still, $550 for a shotgun... it's too much for my taste.

Somthing wierd about the aa12 in real life is that it is full auto only your trigger finger is your select fire but it makes sense that the airsoft version is select fire because some Fields don't allow full auto.

Still in test phase. Future plans involve having a AA12( gunner) in squads that are going into urban environments, equipped with both frag drums and 12 gauge 00 buckshot loaded straight magazines for room clearing. With the frag drum intended for engaging Opfor in windows or rooms with no clear engagement opportunities. AA12 will be used as a lighter and more adaptable weapon akin to the XM 25 project.

So far, I'm not too impressed. I have no doubt that it's a decent gun, with it being a TM and all, but for $420+ I was expecting more. I probably wouldn't consider getting this gun until there's a GBB version with a drum mag. It is an AA12 after all.

+The Weak and Pitiful Trixie shell fed green gas/propane shotguns would easily make it through 30 shots in that mag with one charge. The drum mag however would be pretty impractical unless you had a huge gas block to work with.
