This episode is heartbreaking. I love the bond between Maxine and Steph, she was pretty much a lost cause before Steph started to care about her and gave her a chance and it gave Steph, a character supposed to be useless at what she does a chance to show that she's good at something and someone who finally really cares about her since she never has any luck romantically. Honestly one of the best storylines on this show!

Earl was never gonna change. He's been a violent liar/manipulator since the beginning. As soon as Maxine saw through the deception ("She didn't listen to me"), he automatically went to aggression because that's how he usually solves problems. Maxine was telling him ugly truths about himself and he couldn't handle it.

honestly so glad these episodes are being uploaded, but PLEASE listen to the fans... 1) STOP putting spoilers in the title. I get that you have to attract people to the video but spoilers aren't the only way to do that. something like "earl's dark secret" would be enough to get people interested without revealing something that happens in the last 5 minutes. would you have enjoyed marley and me so much if it was called "the dog dies at the end"? to be honest I don't think the episodes need titles at all - they got hundreds of thousands of views on YT before without overly dramatic titles. 2) the thumbnails look shit. why not just use a still from the episode? 3) a regular upload schedule would be good. it just means people know when to come back to the channel rather than just guessing. daily would be awesome but I'm assuming there's a reason it's not daily already. oh, and what happened to the theme tune? does anyone know?

Both of you forget (or ignore) the fact that these two girls were in a panic situation; it is not to be expected to be 100% expert in fighting off armed criminals when you have two scared, teen girls. Janice did her best... Maxine couldn't have come out alive unless she said "yes", Earl was the one with the gun; yet somehow the blame falls on Maxine and Janice... Now imagine if it was the other way round, a woman killing a teen boy; would you then blame the teen boys for not knowing what to do?

The only reason he was committed to Bolton's training was because he was living his long lost dream through him and he didn't care how hard he had to go to push him.
