23:32 hey from the states! Love the build! The issue you may have with headlocks is going to happen if any inspections are required for your vehicle during your time here. Most states will not care so long as you don’t pull a load. “Off-road use only” but in my experience you’ll more likely get stopped if you pull a trailer. And then they will only inspect the trailer connections and insurance. Happy wheeling, and check out the Arkansas / Missouri ozark area trails for some good fun and some great water crossings! And yes Moab is dope! 27:39

Enjoying the content 👍🏻 couple of observations the tyres project outside the bodywork and it will result in dirt/mud spraying along the side of your truck. Wheel arch ‘eyebrows’ like you see on old defenders will help reduce this. From a legality perspective some countries won’t allow tyres that project outside the bodywork. Doubt you’d ever get stopped but worth knowing.

With a bigger spare tire it will mean you are putting more weight on the rear door hinges. I don’t know about the TGV, but with Defenders it was a real problem weakening hinges, causing squeaking and causing the door to be very heavy to open.

@@jamest5149 it would be interesting to see what each country’s actual rules are, as I understood it if you have international rego then you have to abide by the country’s vehicle laws that the vehicle is registered in? @indiebekonn5 ай бұрын
@@jamest5149That’s just police being useless as usual. They’re supposed to enforce the law but they know none of it. @@indiebekonn but the laws are very similar in all EU countries… just some are not as rigorously enforced…. Spain, France and Germany are HOT on the letter of the law so what would seem trivial in the UK or Oz could get you in trouble… take having factory electric side steps on a Range Rover, fitted from new, all OEM parts… if they are not on the log book… you get a fine because they increase the size of the vehicle, same for towing mirrors or tow bars, and forget fitting anything yourself as that means your insurance is invalid, and won’t pass the MOT (ITV) without the correct documents from a official garage.

I like the name Skaði! A good choice. I like how you've transformed the vehicle from a military truck to a family over landing off-road vehicle. I'm sure that there is still much you wish to do both externally and interally, but externally, it looks to be getting close to completion. At least in terms of appearances. I'm not sure about the wheel deadlock colour to be honest. The blue-grey is more classy, but the white ties in with the roof, but tends to look more silver than white on my screen. The silverish appearance, sort of looks a bit tacky, but it probably looks different in reality. Perhaps a slight ivory white to tone down that silver look, if it has that appearance in real life.
