A fun trip in a classic van. I have the 84 4WD model that I have been driving for the past 34 years in Oz. I fitted Central Tyre Inflation to it so I can dial up pressures as I drive. For that sort of work, I'd punch in 12psi. Still my favourite off-road vehicle.

Awesome man! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Id be mouthing an Anderson plug behind the seat or something to plug you compressor into without having to unload everything out of the way. It would be especially bad if it was hosing down.

That's a great idea!, I think I'll need to do something like that, lifting the seat all the time is annoying.

Thanks for sharing. If you van is 2.4 petrol do you find it has enough power for sand , hill climbs and motorway.?
@SwampChook3 жыл бұрын
Yeah its the 2.4 Petrol, and yes I think it has enough power, more would always be nice but it gets the job done. I've done a bit more soft sand since this video and it copes really well.

NOT ENUFF TREAD ON YR TIRES FOR OFF-ROAD. IF UR INTO SOFT SAND OR A WET SOFT PUDDLE, WHERES UR TOW-OUT BUDDY? All wheel drive seems to fit the challenge better. whe the tide was out, it looked gr8 for fat biking. glad u made it back -- consider ur driving close to the waterline when the tide was out, u get bogged in a shallow, and the tide comes in!?!

This area is traveled well enough that it doesn’t take long for someone in a 4x4 to come along
