A few times a year the guys and I head down to Venice Louisiana in search of summertime trout and red snapper. This past year was no exception. Luckily we were able to get on a good trout bite. So join along as we chase them specs!

how often do you catch trout over 20 inches in LA?

Me personally, not too often unfortunately. I’ve been seeing more and more reports recently of guys catching larger trout. Hopefully we get new limits soon in LA and we can see size and numbers improve.

@@Unchartered_Outdoors Ok. I've just started following fishermen in LA so I didn't know. Large numbers of trout being caught for sure though. If you are hungry for big trophies you can always make the short drive down to texas. Seeing a trout over 28 inches on the end of your line is a heart stopper. Most men scream.
